Wouter Ducheyne

Wouter graduated from the University of Leuven as Master in chemical engineering in 1997. He has since built up seventeen years of professional experience in the chemical industry. Predominantly active in engineering and operations, he evolved from process engineer, project engineer, project manager (PMP) over director chapter liaison and production manager to coach and member of the PMI board of directors at BASF. Driven by his passion to turn ideas into practical applications, he started in 2010 to develop the new and patented technology to create industrial energy from waste heat, and co-founded the company in 2012.

Christian Heeren

Christian Heeren

Christian graduated as a Master in Law at the University of Antwerp in 1999 and obtained an MBA at the Antwerp Management School in 2000. He acquired fifteen years of expertise in different business units of one of the largest global family businesses, in the US, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. His commercial and sales experiences in this industrial business to business environment are underpinned by a strong entrepreneurial mindset. In 2012 he teamed up with Wouter Ducheyne to co-found Qpinch and to bring its innovative solutions to the industry.

Chris Lebeer

Chris combined the studies of Chemical Engineer with those of applied economics at the university of Leuven where he graduated in 1979. His academic career continued at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford Business School and IMD business school. Throughout the years, Chris built an international track record in operating turnarounds, leading major transformational projects and scaling up mid-size organizations. Chris has been acting as a chairman, member of the Board or as a CEO for the last fifteen years in diverse companies, amongst which Bekaert, Mc Kinsey Company, Verwater (Rotterdam), GSE group (Paris), Banksys, Volution Holding (London) and Sprimoglass. Early on, Chris was a Qpinch Board member.
Recently he was asked by the Board to help and prepare the organization for an international roll-out.

Achiel Ossaer

Achiel Ossaer

Achiel started his professional career at Procter & Gamble, after graduating at the University of Leuven as a Chemical Engineer in 1966. He soon joined Monsanto Antwerp, Belgium, as the start-up supervisor for their new unit in 1970, where he internally moved on to be the site director for Gent and later on Antwerp as well as the co-founder of Indaver. From 1994 onwards the became the international vicepresident world wide production at Janssen Pharmaceutica, later on Johnson and Johnson, until his retirement in 2004. During his professional career, Achiel also acted as chairman or member of the Board of several non-profit organizations (counsel for the chemical engineering department of the University of Leuven, roundtable conference chemical industry in Flanders, Delta Process academy and Lessius higher education school). After his retirement he became one of the first true believers of our technology. His experience and expertise in the chemical industry were the perfect qualifications to propose him the chairmanship of our Board. A position he gladly took up and still executes with the fullest devotion.
